Jet Set

Good afternoon, passengers. On behalf of Wine Cult Airways, it is our pleasure to welcome you to your flight—a ticket to experience three first-class destinations through a swirl, sniff, and sip. In the box in front of you, you’ll find four hand-selected bottles of wine by your Captain and Advanced Sommelier, Brent Karlicek. He traveled the world in search of exclusive collaborations with esteemed winemakers to create these one-of-a-kind glasses. We’re sure you’ll find each sip is as unique as the terroir from which it hails. So with that, please make sure your tray table is down, your seat is in a perfect position, and your beats are dialed in. It’s time for takeoff.

Every Wine Has a Story to Tell

Holly's Way Chardonnay

Classic California Chardonnay Expression

Inspired by an old friend with particular tastes, Holly’s Way represents the culmination of a lengthy relationship with Chardonnay, showcasing the fantastic fruit ripeness from California sunshine, while retaining the vibrancy that only cool growing conditions can lend.

The 2022 vintage of Holly’s Way is sourced from three distinct growing regions which receive coastal influence.  65% of the blend is from Santa Barbara County, 20% from Monterey County, and 15% from Clarksburg AVA. The Santa Barbara component offers the vivid freshness typical of this growing region – a high elevation area with brisk Pacific Ocean wind and fog that funnels inland from west to east. The fruit from Monterey and Clarksburg round out the partnership, with richer fruit profiles adding complexity and depth.

100% Chardonnay fermented in a combination of stainless steel and French oak barrels, aged on the lees for six months, with regular battonage to enrich the midpalate.

De La Tierra

Serious, Savory + Silky Spanish Selection

De La Tierra Tempranillo was born of our love for the regional wines of Spain, produced from indigenous varietals by passionate humans, protecting the vinous heritage of the area. The wine hails the Meseta de Ocaña, located 60 kilometers east of Toledo, a bit South of Madrid.  The climate is continental with very cold dry winters and hot arid summers – due to the high altitude of the vineyards, the warm summer days are accompanied by cool nights – ideal conditions for perfect ripening. Cencibel is uniquely suited to the harsh climate of the area with a smaller, more compact bunch size and thicker grape skins to withstand heavy winds.  De La Tierra is produced from a combination of head-trained bush & trellised vines, with an average of 50 years, on limestone & clay soils at around 800 meters.

100% Cencibel, the name for the local clone of Tempranillo. Grapes are hand-harvested in small bins, before spontaneous whole cluster fermentation in stainless steel tanks, after which the grapes are pressed in the classical method – the lighter free flow wine is released from the tank, revealing all the lifted aromatics and pure flavors that carbonic fermentation reveals.

Postino WineCafe Exclusive Collaboration With Mas Que Vinos.

Más Que Vinos was founded in La Rioja in 1998 when three friends – Margarita Madrigal, Alexandra Schmedes, and Gonzalo Rodriguez met – three winemakers, each one with extensive wine-making experience.  Seeing the great potential of the vineyards in Gonzalo’s hometown of Dosbarrios outside Toledo, they launched their personal winery project rescuing old plots of indigenous grape varieties and moving to all organic viticulture.  They renovated the historic family winery which dates to 1851, and in 2007 added a new modern facility in nearby Cabañas de Yepes.

Altura Rose was born of our love for the regional wines of Spain, produced from indigenous varietals by passionate humans, protecting the vinous heritage of the area. The climate is continental with very cold dry winters and hot arid summers - due to the high altitude of the vineyards, the warm summer days are accompanied by cool nights - ideal conditions for perfect ripening.
