2002 “Silver Stag” Cabernet

Paul and I enjoyed this fine cabernet on June 21st of this year. Silver Stag is located between Silver Oak, and Stags Leap vineyards.

Dark garnet color. On the nose blueberry, blackberry, Currant, anise, tobacco, leather, black pepper, and green vegetables. On the palate bsig mouthfeel, luscious blueberry fruit, leather, and tobacco, with choc truffles. Very long finish. Very well built, balanced wine. Could go another 6 years.
