2003 La Sirena Cabernet

I enjoyed this fine Cabernet about a month ago with Paul and friends. This is another great effort from Heidi Barrett! Freelance Winemake Heidi Barrett also has consulted with Screaming Eagle, Silver Oak, Maya, Amuse Bouche, Paradigm, Rubicon, and many others!! Harvest Date – Sept 26, 2003 Blend is 99% Cabernet Sauvignon (Calistoga), 1% Cab Franc (Oakville). Some Chemistry – 14.5% alc., T.A. 0.59, pH 3.77 100% French oak barrels, 38% new for 22 months Bottling date: May 25, 2005 Release date: June 1, 2006 Production: 650 cs. (750 ml. bottles), 20 cs. (1.5L) etched, gold leaf magnums

Tasting notes: Beautiful aromas of flowers, black currants, sweet toasty oak, licorice, full-bodied, deep, rich, intensely concentrated and dense mouthfilling Cabernet. Very well balanced
