Amizetta 2004 Estate Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon

Had this wine with Sean, Carol and Niece yesterday evening.  At $100+ a bottle, I was ready… It opened up great and changed throughout our drinking which lasted about a hour and half (we where going slow waiting on JH).  It showed alot of complexity as it evolved and opened.  Very dark with some very spicy notes kind of hot on the finish.  The alcohol content is 14.6% so that could be the heat or it could have been the spicy notes. 

Overall I enjoyed the wine, although the price point is a bit much.  I think the wine is going to get better with some age.  Give it a few years then this wine should really rock for the money (if you buy it now).
