2005 Oakville East Exposure Cabernet Sauvignon

Recently enjoyed a bottle of the 2005 Oakville East Exposure with dinner. A friend of mine brought it back from his trip to Napa recently. To what I have read up and seen this is supposed to be an up and coming wine. 2004 was the Inaugural and you could find it for a reasonable price around $25.00. After drinking the 2005 looked it up and it is going for about $100.00 if you can find it.

Truly a hidden gem. Loads of flavor across the mouth from cherry to plum and even a slight hint of tobacco. The wine is balanced with little acid but carries through  with a nice velvety finish.
